Feel free to participate in our species recovery programs if you want to lend a hand in preserving Canada’s wildlife. Volunteering will aid you a lot in numerous practical ways. As you volunteer, you will gain the opportunity to sharpen your skills and meet new faces.
We currently have an available position for those who aspire to become a birder. Among the primary responsibilities of the birder are monitoring eastern loggerhead shrikes (now endangered) and reporting any sighting of a shrike for population count.
If you are into taking wildlife photos, you are also welcome to participate in volunteering. Your photos can greatly help us in tracking and conserving the country’s endangered fauna.
Finally, we need an extra hand in our ongoing reintroduction of the burrowing owl species back to the wild. This reestablishment effort is highly dependent on the participation of volunteers. There are multiple roles available for this specific opportunity.
